Pint @ George. I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet! This and Mac and Jack’s African Amber could be the unofficial beers of Seattle because at least one of them is in every damn bar. Refreshingly hoppy (love those Cascades!). It’s a shame it looks like pond water. Not a bad go-to.

Draft at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse in Seattle, WA. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a two finger white head that quickly settles into a thin ring. Spotty lacing left behind. Slightly floral aroma with delicate grassy hops countered by bread and pale malt notes. Subtle grassy pine character with faint citrus hop character followed by bread, biscuit and light fruit. Medium bodied with a crisp hop presence up front that lingers over the sweeter notes and pale malt into a slightly dry finish. Floral and earthy hop character that’s not overly dry or bitter followed by citrus rind, bread, biscuit and graham cracker. A well balanced, refreshing beer that pretty sessionable.

Tap @ Blue C Sushi, Seattle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, pine, citrus and malt.

Gooney (389) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 19, 2012
On tap at Roo’s in Long Beach, WA - Orangish yellow with a pillowy white head. Not overwhelming with the hops. Somewhat of a sweet aftertaste. Add some more hops, and this would be a very good IPA.

Love manny’s! Not much aroma and the head disappears quickly, but an excellent beer with a light banana ester and subtle finish.

Can’t believe I don’t have a rating in for this, one of the first good beers I remember having. Rosy hazy orange body, thick white head. Coppery malt and hop nose, sweet malt backbone with mild hops. Pretty good, and nice to have it around.

Tap. Pours an opaque golden amber with lingering off-white head. Pretty good, I usually order this if it’s available and nothing else looks interesting.

On tap at PF Changs in Seattle. Colour...golden-orange with a thick head. Nose... Lightly hoppy with some mash aroma. Palate... Nicely balanced between malt and hop with dry earth, a slightly bitter tang on the back palate and a burst of spent grain.

Sample at TRACE in Seattle. This brew pours a hazed orange color with a thin off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Notes of citrus and hops. Light-bodied with a grassy hops character and notes of citrus and malt. The finish is short and mildly hopped. Slightly above average overall.
