Sample at TRACE in Seattle. This brew pours a hazed orange color with a thin off-white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Notes of citrus and hops. Light-bodied with a grassy hops character and notes of citrus and malt. The finish is short and mildly hopped. Slightly above average overall. Pours a hazy straw with about a finger of off-white head. Smell is mild. Taste is a bit sweet, honey, straw, bit bitter towards the end, pretty good drinkability, light bodied. Nice. yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2012
From tap at Taphouse Grill. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and crisp hoppy. Smooth hoppy, grapefruity and light peachy. Mild bitter and light sweet impression. jtw (1170) - farmington, Michigan, USA - FEB 15, 2012
on draft at the courtyard marriott in downtown seattle. slightly hazy gold, with a whitish head that sticks a bit to the glass. aroma is mildly hoppy to fit the classic american pale profile. green grassy citrusy (grapefruit) cascades, but a little fruitier and estery than the typically clean and neutral west coast yeast. medium body and nice balance; the APA style well-executed. very enjoyable. A very good pale ale. Always one of my favorites when I see it on tap! Pretty smooth and easy to sit and drink for a while.

Got a pitcher of this with some friends in Seattle. It pours a copper orange color with a medium white head, good lacing and good carbonation. Aroma is hops and a bit of metal. The taste is a bit like a hoppier version of dos equis amber which isn’t a good thing. Its ok and easy to drink but boring and a little skunky. Bleh. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - OCT 12, 2011
[Tap] Enjoyed a pint of this at the Seattle airport. Pours a reddish-orange color with a beige cap of foam. Crisp citrus nose mixes with some bread and caramel. Balanced biscuits, toffee and moderate hop bitterness. Grassy finish. Decent mouthfeel and good looking lacing. Pretty good. Probably one of the best beers I’ve had at an airport. nearbeer (5600) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 25, 2011
Draft, Vino Rosso in Idaho Falls. Golden-bronze with a small ring of bubbles. Nose is grain and light citrus, Taste is sourish grain and lemon. Light-medium body is drinkable, tingly with carbonation and watery. TomTiedemann (249) - Levittown, New York, USA - AUG 19, 2011
On tap at Bigfoot. Pours decent but missing something, not sure if it was the tap v8powered (157) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Very Malty and "bread-like" taste. Hops are taste and smell like citrus and pine. Pretty balanced but lacking the aftertaste. Not a bad typical pale ale.
