Copper with a white head. Initial hop blast is softened in the middle with medium caramel malts and then a relatively strong hop finish. Hoppier than the standard festbier. Good. andrewje41 (3763) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - SEP 12, 2016
Draft pour pint at Special Brews. Is it Tomtober already?!? Creeps up on you. Hazy amber pour with a half moon of active fizz head. Rich, sugary caramel aroma. Flavor is a rich caramel as well, with a soft buried spice. Cool malt, brown sugar. Cookie spice late finish. Pretty good addition to the style. donandres (527) - Bayombong, PHILIPPINES - JAN 6, 2016

Draught. Clear light brown pour with white head. Light floral and caramelly aroma. Malty and toasty flavour with a little spice in the finish. Hanuta06 (469) - Washington, USA - SEP 27, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2013 Serving: from growler--purchased at Georgetown Brewing Co.
Aroma: moderate floral hop.
Appearance: average-sized, rocky, off-white, initial head with good lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, light-amber body.
Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and moderately sweet, caramel finish with average duration.
Palate: medium-bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: great aroma, but a bit too sweet for my taste. riversideAK (6260) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Nose is dry and toasty with light caramel and a little earthiness. Golden amber, thin head. The flavor is dry and toasty with a little sweetness on the mid palate and a clean crisp finish. Decent. cstuartj (1020) - Washington, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Light yellow color, thin hop and grass nose. Nice clean taste. Not bad at all. Try it. 22415brewery (379) - Washington, USA - SEP 26, 2011
On tap at the Fremont Oktoberfest Seattle, WA. Pours a decent ruby, clear, with a touch of foam. Aroma is of crackers, sweet light caramel, and a bit of butterscotch. Tastes a bit caramel sweet (slightly out of style), a bit flat as far as the malt goes. Finishes fairly dry with a slight astringent character. Not a prime example of a malty oktoberfest bier, but a decent entry nevertheless.
