Bottle from John’s Market in Portland, OR. Smelled lightly skunky upon opening, but that dissipated quickly. Very pale gold color with a vigorous white head. Mild grasy hop aroma. Near medium body with almost creamy carbonation. Flavor is a bit too bready/grainy, but the hops almost make up for it. Finish is just slightly too sweet. crossovert (13411) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 12, 2011
Poured from a green bottle. Pours a decent pale straw, with a medium white head that quickly recedes and doesn’t leave much lacing.
Smells skunky at first but it fades away and there is some light doughy malt and some grassy hops.
It is pretty light bodied, with a pinch of carbonation. Has a mix of grassy hop bitterness and sourdough flavor. The finish leaves a fair amount of hop on the tougne. Fairly dry finish leaves your throat a bit dry.
Overall, another Euro pale lager that got skunked at some point on its way to my glass. Average, no better than Heineken really.

Bottle. Barley malt and fresh hay aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Stale barley malt and lightly bitter herb flavor. Not too bad. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 12, 2010
Green bottle. Poured clear, bright golden with a short-lived cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey and corn maltage with light lemony accents.. pleasant enough. The flavor found the same honey and corn at the core (maybe a little more corn syrup than honey).. dry, grassy bitterness on the edges.. nice tanginess on the finish.. again decent. Light-bodied with lower carbonation on the palate.. adjuncty, but I don’t have any complaints. Patrickctenchi (6660) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 11, 2013
Pours clear, old gold with a short, whispy white head.
Grain malt, metallic aroma.
Taste is grain, slightly leafy/grassy hops.
Dry, slightly bitter finish.
Cheap eurolager.....with less skunk.

Yellow straw color with a modest white head. Noble to skunky hops are heavy in the aroma when poured and fade away revealing buttery malt. Some pale malt in the start, but lead to stale floor malt and heavy grain bread. Very much like many a euro (typically eastern bloc) lager. Too thick and heavy in feel. Can from supermarket. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, malts, a bit of hops and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, malts, grass and toast. Basic bulk lager. Ron (4059) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 18, 2009
Yes there is alittle skunk in the aroma, but some other fine lagers have the same. Typical lager flavor. Yes it would be better on a hot day. Decent price for BOTW. Glad I tried it. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - JUN 12, 2009
(bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is lightly skunky with some sweetness and dry grass. Flavor is bitter and cloying at the beginning with a light sweet note. Middle is dry grass and some stale hops. Finishes bitter and very watery. DYCSoccer17 (3705) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 12, 2008
12 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Unfortunately, the bottle is green. Initial aroma is a on of skunky DMS, thanks to the bottle. Light doughy malt aroma is also present along with a little herbal hoppiness. Not terrifically aromatic. Transparent yellow body with small, white head that is quickly dissipating. Light biscuit malty, grainy flavors present to start before this finishes with a bit of herbal, lightly bitter hops. This is pretty flavorless shit, if you ask me. Pretty fucking retarded.
