Bottled. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some mild earthy and spicy notes along with mild floral tones. Flavour is very similar with some slight yeasty, mild wooden and also some toasted notes. Quite pleasant, even though it could do with a slight bit more bitterness.

(bottle, 33cl, 8.5% abv) Hazy, murky amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Mildly sweet and nutty dark malty aroma with slightly vinous fruity notes of dark and red berries, accompanied by shades of cacao and alcohol. Mildly sweet and slightly sour flavour, medium to full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dark and slightly toasty malty taste with a delicately vinous fruity touch, as well as a tinge of chocolate and nutty notes; bearable notes of alcohol show up towards the malty and slightly sour-fruity finish. Nice one. 17.XII.12

Bottle 75cl, an amber beer with good head and retention. Nose is low, slightly peppery hops touch. Aroma is on caramel, spice, cinnamon, vanilla, light over-riped fruits such as apricot and apple, carared malt, medium sweet to high, moderate bitterness, well balanced and easy drinking beer. Alcohol is well hidden, finish is on floral hops and light burnt caramel, good !

2.3

Bottle. Sweet malty flavour, rather sugary. Almost clear brown colour. The flavour is quite sweet. Some alcohol burn, not too bad.
