Bottle courtesy of Ekstedt shared @ Ekstedts bock-tasting. Pours mahogany with a small off-white head that doesnt leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet, tiny sour and malty with dark bread, caraway, orange peal and plums. Taste is sweet with bread, wood, golden syrup, prunes, raisins and nuts. Mouthfeel is round and medium bodied. Finish sweet and slightly bitter with bread and orange zest.

(bottle) pours a ruby colour with a light copper tinge and a frothy off-white head. aroma of vanilla, coconut and grass, almost like a bourbon, though with more woody spiciness, hints of dark fruit and some excessive grain. flavour is toasted malts, light coffee, herbal hops and brown sugar, with a slightly dry, lingering smoky finish. medium to heavy-bodied with average carbonation.
