Deep brown-black pour with a thick espresso crema-like head. The nose is great - intensely cocoa laden with coffee and roasted malt notes. Has a lot of malt complexity mid-palate which I consider very important in a good porter. A little bit of fruit as well. Rich and chocolatey with a lingering roasty finish. I had this at the brewpub, and it was so immensely drinkable. Brown colour, well malted, with a brown malt mocha flavour. Smooth. Radek Kliber (7369) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - APR 30, 2013

Appearance <poured brown with mid lighter top. 3+
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied. Softer, tad vinous. Some chocolate, licorice. Solid.
This blew my expectations. Really well done porter. just the right balance of ingredients. Pours pitch black with mocha head and really good lacing - like a shredded carpet. Aroma of smoked malt and coffee, very pungent and robust.Finishes with coffee, nutty bitter. Good stuff. On tap at brewpub. blankboy (7708) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 21, 2012
Draught at Get Well. Pours a very dark reddish-brown, almost black, with a small long-lasting frothy/creamy beige head. Some lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of roasted malt, some leafy hops, lactic notes, notes of coffee & chocolate and finally, dark fruit.
Flavour of roasted malt along with a good amount of leafy hops, cream, coffee and dark fruit. Slightly roasty/bitter finish. Medium bodied, slightly creamy mouthfeel. A very good Porter, well done, I look forward to trying the other beers by them.
