In short: smoked IStout.
Pours black with nice tan head. Moderate head retention, poor lacing. Peaty, smoky, wood, coffee nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, viscous texture. Taste is roasty, coffee, smoky, peaty. Quite dry and bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized brown head. Aroma is malts, roast, liquorice. Taste malts, roasted malts, some liquorice, perhaps a slight hint of peat in the distance but I think my brain is fooling me because of the label. Nothing at all peated as ik used to when it’s normally on the label. Can’t be peated whiskey. But, that does mean that I actually very much like this beer. It’s a lovely imperial stout with a nice malt bitter and malt roast bitter finish, but it doesn’t have peat imo.

Bottle 37,5cl. Black with a foamy brown head. Coffee aroma with some liquorice tones. Secondly some wodden aging is recognizable. Very rich taste where the peated taste is nicely present. Not overdone, but perfectly in balance with the hops which gives this nice bitter finish. An absolute superb beer.

Bottle from Pitch black with faint beige head. Massively peated aroma with some liquorice, char, oak. More balanced peaty taste with liquorice, chocolate and booze. Pretty nice for a peated imperial stout.

kerenmk (5480) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - OCT 24, 2015
Bottle sample at a tasting at tomer’s place. Thanks Stas & Vova.Black with a tan-light brown head. Burnt, tar, charred wood aroma, burnt, charred, a little peaty and deep taste. Smooth texture, full-bodied, deep, inky bitter finish. Awesome.

martin00sr (4793) - Haderslev, DENMARK - OCT 14, 2015
Black with thick tan head. Aroma has light smoke and earthy notes. Smooth chocolate and licorice flavour, slightly salty with subtle smoke, whisky notes and warming alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel with bitter and boozy kick. Very drinkable. Well balanced and complex. Elegant.
