COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from boxbeers.dk quite a while back. Pours opaque black with a beige head. Woody aroma with subtle whisky, dark chocolate, light peat, vanilla and liquorice. Roasted chocolate taste with a bit of boozy whiskey, rye, liquorice. Smooth, slightly bitter, warming finish. Elegant stuff.

Thank you Benzai! Sampled 375 ml. bottle @ Borefts 2016. Day 1. Black, little mocha. Nose is umami, thick syrupy, mocha molasses; taste is bland umami, herbal, leaves, low gravy, boozy, zero oak vanilla. Body is zero herbal umami, leaves. Okay but too umami heavy, 4th Ghost Brewing beer, still a bit lukewarm about these guys.

Sampled from bottle thanks to trade with Yespr. Opaque black color, medium sized brown head. Aroma is malts, definitely whiskey, rye, smoke, light peat, tar. Tastes about the same. Quite heavy but still very enjoyable.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is black chocolate, rough whisky (maybe because it’s rye?). Taste is spicy, chocolate, quite some barrel. Viscous. Medium carbonation. Very good.
