Ocena na podstawie notatek i wspomnień celem uzupełnienia profilu. Nie zrobił wrażenia - kawa + czekolada, cała dość mało, alko dość nieźle schowane. Bez szału.

Little bit to sweet for my taste, but goes into nice bitterness, alcohol nicely masked. Nice //covfefe// imperial stout

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas'. Thanks Max and Stas. Black. Sweet, cocoa, some coconut, a little roasty, vanilla and chestnut aroma. Sweet and roasty taste, a little cocoa, vanilla and wine taste. Medium body, smooth, a little roasty, long finish.

Difficult to rate beer, I like it, but it is lacking ’something’. Appearance is dark black chocolate, head disappears too quickly. Nice aroma with lot of coffee. Taste is very umami. Coffee and chocolate, not bitter, rather floral and a citrus like quality that makes it interesting. Sweet. Palate is slightly oily. Easy aftertaste with ’round’ chocolate and coffee.

Kolor hebanowy, bez refleksu, obwódka piany. W zapachu dominuje swieza kawa. W smaku daje sie odczuc likierowy alkohol, karmel, swieza kawa i w sumie tyle - bardzo proste. Smaki sa dobre i w miare zbalansowane, ale plytkie i nieciekawe. Brakuje tez pelni.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’ place. Thanks Vova. Black. Some coffee, roast, some soy sauce, sweet, a bit of alcohol, quite full-bodied, rounded. Good.

Pours dark brown, small head. Intense coffee aroma, cocoa, cookie, hint of fruits, roasty malts. Bitter, balanced with sweetness. Medium body, good carbonation.

Damn I’ve got a soft spot for a good coffee stout. Jet black with barely any head, what little of it there is dissipates quickly, par for the course I suppose. What strikes me is that this one isn’t totally dominated by the coffee stylings, there’s a lot of room for some grape / wine and classic stout characteristics to shine thru. A bit on the sweet side but with some bitter to counteract at the end. Dec body w chewy mf, minimal carbo tho
