Dette er en øl med karakter uden at den bliver vulgær. En smuk sødme med toner af kaffe og chokolade møder en som det første og efterfølges af brændte malt toner. Fantastisk til mørk chokolade.

Clear dark brown to black beer, practically no head. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, hay, soft roast. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, lots of coffee bitterness, bitter hops. Aftertaste: still very bitter and hoppy, roasted, coffee. Didn’t get much bourbon. Might be just me.
Bottle at Solar Eclipse part 3 - the darkest hours. Aroma of roasted, brown sugar, cacao, coffee and vanilla - notes of bourbon and wood. Starts sweet but finish bitter with lingering roasted notes. Medium body and oily texture. A nice one... hallinghansen (3516) - Odense SV, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2017
Bottle @ Solar Eclipse part 3 - The Darkest Night. Coffee, chocolate, bourbon, oak, roasted malt. Soft and smooth. Delicious. Plovmand (8718) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2017
Bottle at Solar Eclipse Part 3: The Darkest Hours. It pours opaque black with a brown head. The aroma is vanilla and oak with deep roasted and some ripe fruit. Chocolate and light coffee. The flavour is deep sweet roasted malty with soy and coffee notes. Some ripe fruity notes along with chocolate and a whiff of hops. Seems a bit raw but it has potential.
