COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ghost River Golden has a mellow, refreshing character, accentuated by Memphis soft water. Munich and caramel malts give this beer enough sweetness to balance the crisp, dry finish. O.G. 1048

Golden pour with a rather short lived white head. Not even a white layer. No lacing. Looks like a cider. Caramel malt dominated aroma. Well not to inviting start. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Caramel malty and faint fruity flavor. Tasted better than expected. But will not chase a new one. Just a state tick.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. It has some decent lacing, and is quite carbonated to the end. The aroma is of very sweet rock candy with not much else present in the nose. The taste is of very dry, tart hops with a hint of toasted bread. Not as sweet as I was expecting based on the aroma, and perhaps a little too dry and tart for my liking, especially since it really lacks character other than the tartness (kind of like drinking carbonated water when the soda machine is messed up).

Pours slightly hazy gold not much carbonation. Aroma is caramel malts. Crisp and refreshing palate. Tastes like cream soda beer. Not overly sweet though, caramel malts. A little bit of citrus hops. Pretty good.

Clear dark gold pour with a one finger creamy white head. Aroma is toast, floral hops, lactose sweetness, a little sweet wheat and a very soft fruitiness. Flavor is toast, light fruity notes, lactose, caramel, bread crust, sweet wheat, soft water and light spicy hops. Light to medium body, creamy feel throughout and soft carbonation. Good stuff.
