Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Tawny brown, with rose hues. Smells good: washing liquid bubbles and rainfall in forest. Leafy hop taste, quite subtle, slightly tangy. Cask conditioned at Moreton in Marsh Beer Fest ’10. Clouded brown with no head. Pleasant fruity maltiness leads to a gentle light hoppiness, a touch bitter, nice and balanced and easily drinkable. A decent beer. downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 30, 2010
On gravity at the Wellington, Bristol 29/05/10. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and citrus hops. Flavour was slightly sweet, with plenty more malts, some orange fruit and decent, bitter finish. Good.
