Bottle, courtesy of DerA. Pours hazy yellow slash amber. Aroma is quite fruity, hoppy, but also nutty. Body is medium, dominated by sweetness, with a soft, almost pale carbonation. Body leads nicely into palate. Tasty. Yum! derA (91) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - DEC 6, 2016
Very light, heller doppelbock, sweet malty and tropical fruitiness on the nose, refreshingly light palette let down by a boringly watery finish. Overall a helles bockbier i would have any day! jonas (8645) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - DEC 4, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2017 Rerate from tap, start of January. Cleaner, dry, spicy , much nicer, finished. Old Bottle ratingCloudy copper, golden cream. Juicy/fruity malt, light grainy, aromatic hop notes, fermented fruit. Medium light body, sweet, hayish base, light mildew, fruity/underattenuated, flowery hop finish. Too sweet and green for me at this time, wonder how they will develop in the bottle. BeerandBlues2 (14523) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 20, 2016

Holzfass. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is fruity hops, sweet malts, and some fruity yeasts. Taste is delicately fruity. Full-bodied with medium carbonation. Surprisingly good, it’s a moreish and fruity Heller Bock that doesn’t lose its focus on the grains.
