Hazy golden color. Dry and lean, the malts are a bit biscuity, bold bitterness with some herbaceous hop character; I may sense a tiny bit of butter in the aroma.
22oz bottle pours a hazy pale brown color. Floral hop profile and lots of malt extract flavor.

On tap at Brewer’s Republic. Pours a slightly hazy, light orange color, with a medium, frothy, beige head that leaves some good lacing. Nice hop aromatics of citrus and pine, with notes of orange peels, nutmeg, hay, and some light earth. Not too sweet, with a smooth bitterness. Medium body, with a crisp, astringent, and hard palate. This is a nicely done pale ale. Good, subtle malt character, and lovely hop aromatics. j12601 (12680) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 13, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a softly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft citrus on the nose, a bit of musk, melon, toast. Medium bodied, soft citrus, a bit of fruit, citrus. Gentle citrus into the finish, soft and easy, light grapefruit, toast, a bit of easy bitterness. Lovely.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange, medium off-white head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is bread, biscuit, noble hops, floral and nutty. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, earthy, bready, noble hop, spruce. Medium body, silky mouthfeel. malrubius (2928) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 7, 2017
Bottle from Brewfest Beverage. Copper with lasting small head and a little lace. Spicy mild woody and fruity aroma. Medium sweet peachy honey toasted caramel with medium spicy herbal woody fruity hop. Medium body medium carbo. Balanced but I am not enjoy the herbal hints or the toasted malts very much in this one. oobawa (1500) - Tennessee, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Kind of an all-around okay pale, surprisingly tame considering its pedigree. English malts offer up their usual fruits and nuts, some apple, some black tea undertones, offset by a lemon-orange hop middle in dire need of some oomph. Estery as all hell, and the finish grows sweet, a mild floral hoppiness giving way to bready Brit ale notes. Appearance is orange-gold with a meager head and minuscule lacing, and the watery texture only adds to the overall English meh-ness. Expected more.
