3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dull copper with a modest head and some lace. Aroma is quite malty, with a slight note of overripe fruit. Taste is unusual in that it takes a while to settle in your mouth - at first it seems sour, even - but then it ends on a pleasant slightly grassy hop note. Good carbonation, crisp body. Drinkable but slightly unsettling.
Bottle from Tavour. Hazy copper color with good head and lace. Very very lifted malt and hops. Fresh. Honey and tropical. Citrus and blossom. The palate is sweet and fresh then falls away. Interesting. Not great. slowrunner77 (13204) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 13, 2017
Copper orange in color. Nicer than most English pales in that the hops stretch the style definitions. Biscuit malt tempered with citric and tropical fruit. Good balance, pleasant throughout with a light hop bite and crisp body. Niko100 (3012) - Chicago, New York, USA - AUG 27, 2017

Hazy golden color. Dry and lean, the malts are a bit biscuity, bold bitterness with some herbaceous hop character; I may sense a tiny bit of butter in the aroma.
22oz bottle pours a hazy pale brown color. Floral hop profile and lots of malt extract flavor.

Pours hazy dark orange with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, grapefruit, mild dusty and citrus. Flavor of grapefruit, grassy, oranges and citrus peel
Keg at the Map Room. Hazy orange, large creamy white head, good retention. Pine aroma, some pale malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemon, toasted malt. Medium bodied, crisp, lingering bitterness. GTAEgeek (2497) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JUL 19, 2017
On tap at Brewer’s Republic. Pours a slightly hazy, light orange color, with a medium, frothy, beige head that leaves some good lacing. Nice hop aromatics of citrus and pine, with notes of orange peels, nutmeg, hay, and some light earth. Not too sweet, with a smooth bitterness. Medium body, with a crisp, astringent, and hard palate. This is a nicely done pale ale. Good, subtle malt character, and lovely hop aromatics. j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 13, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a softly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft citrus on the nose, a bit of musk, melon, toast. Medium bodied, soft citrus, a bit of fruit, citrus. Gentle citrus into the finish, soft and easy, light grapefruit, toast, a bit of easy bitterness. Lovely.
