So what surprised by this beer, as from the first whiffs and initial sip I’d have thought this to be a Vienna Lager? I’m now getting the heightened bitter notes as the beer warms but it still has a very strong corn aroma and taste. Some bread flavours and English hops really has me thinking this isn’t terribly American. It’s okay but I wouldn’t be drinking this in quantity. mcberko (17840) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 29, 2014
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out English hops, some metallic notes, and some biscuity notes. Flavour brings out dry biscuity notes, metallic notes, and light English hops. Pretty bland, but balanced enough. Not terribly exciting stuff, but it’s okay. Fantabox (18) - USA - JAN 27, 2014
Crystal malt and English malt pop through beautifully. The hop character is mild yet delicious, and the overall taste is lager-ish bit with an ale finish. Pours a golden amber with an off-white head. Aroma of delicious hops and lager-like florals. Very well done.

Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours slightly hazy amber/gold with off-white foam. Smells warm with a hint of pine. Tastes mild, slightly sweet of very mild lemonaid, finishes with more body than expect, slightly wheaty, slightly red. bhensonb (15194) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 21, 2014
Bomber. Pours amber with a foamy white head. Floral aroma with underlying light roast malt. Med body. Flavor is floral with some grass and they underlying light roast malt. Very tasty. Not very bitter, but it’s good stuff.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2014 On draught at Gigantic 1/5/14. Amber color. Aroma is sweet corn malts. Taste is sweet corn, caramel, lightly bitter hops. Easy-drinking and well balanced. On 2/11/14, had five variations from five cask conditioned pins, each dry-hopped with and profiling a different hop: Brewer’s Gold, Summer, Sylva, experimental 527, and experimental 881. There are the sweet pineapple and KoolAid notes of 527, the tropical guava note of Summer, the mild Sylva, the light citrus of 881, and a mellow tea note of Brewer’s Gold. Prefer the 527 overall, with the Summer and 881 following close behind. pdx76 (651) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 5, 2014
On draught at gigantic - pours clear bright copper clot. Nose of malt and some hop. Smooth mouthfeel. Taste is of syrupy malt, hop, and caramel. Dry finish.

Bottle. Colour...golden amber with no head. Nose...mash, cream
of wheat, and light hops. Palate...dusty, dry earth, lightly hoppy with some biscuit and oyster crackers. The finish is clean and simple. This would be dandy on a hot summer day! BEENJAMIN (290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 30, 2013
22oz bottle at home - pours a slightly hazed golden with an off white head. Aroma is sweet bready malt, honey, grapefruit, and citrus. The flavors match with a light fluffy body almost nitro like but finishing a touch on the watery side. An interesting beer, the body was most exciting for me but Gigantic can sure make a better pale then this. Reid (2541) - Salem, Oregon, USA - DEC 29, 2013
22 oz bomber bought from Trader JOe in Salem.
Its a light amber clear coloured ale with a nice sized frothy slightly off white head.
Mostly malty aromas but some lemon zest style hop aromas show. Pleasant
Very balanced beer in style with the English style malts beating out ( just) the zestful American hops.
Good mouth feel carbonated low and well for style very drinkable.
Good unusual beer ( for the PNW)..enjoyed .
