3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours golden with a small white head. Fruity, yeasty, smooth, finishing bitter
12.4.2014. Taste is sweet, honey, toffee, a bit Belgian style with yeast but too honeyish sweet. TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2015
Poured from the bomber into the pint glass. This is a good strong beer I give it the extra point for being 8.5% and for being beer #13. No wine tasting hub bub on this one, the label tells the story, as advertised. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 26, 2014
A beautiful hazy orange and golden body with a fizzy off white head. The nose is citrusy and estery with light notes of banana, cloves and apples. Mild toasted malts with a light crisp mouthfeel. The finish is moderate and a bit bland with a tad of Belgian flavour. Overall, a good brew but a bit bland.

[ As Gigantic Hellion ].
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, honey notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, tea, sugary, fruity, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle from South Bay Liquor: Poured a clear golden liquid with a thin bubbly head which eventually retreated. Aroma is tame with a minor whiff of spice yet the yeast smells of perfume and not as appetizing other Belgians I have smelt, but a delicate backbone of bready malts softens this already faint nose. Drinks subtle with hints of imitation Belgian yeast from Wyeast and again with flavors of perfume. Practically no spicing noticeable while drinking this and sort of taste fake, definitely not authentic Belgian strong ale in my book. Not a good start for this company Gigantic since this is my first beer ever from them and first impressions are lasting in the micro scene nowadays.

Bottle at Bruce’s Birthday batch @Craft Islington. Cheers Kenny! It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is grainy, dough, toast, must, earth, spice and cat litter. The taste is crisp, lightly tart, pine, orange peel, pear, apple, sherbet, earth, grain and dough with a dry finish. Mediumish body and fine carbonation. Smells a bit musty, but tastes alright. OK, but I wouldn’t rush back to it. Beese (3064) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2014
Draught at BrewDog Shepherd Bush on 1 February 2014. Poured a clear golden colour with a tight, white head. Aroma of citrus hop, spicy Belgian yeast and candied orange peal. Initial flavours of sweet, soft fruit, dry grassy hop and some beady malt. Finish is very dry; some resin and pine. madmitch76 (25286) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 18, 2014

Craft Islington. Brucie Boys Birthday Bash. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry. Light floral malt with some honey like sweetness. Nice mellow tangerine and clementine peel. Touch of syrup and a whisper of sherbet candy. Finishes semi dry. This was a grower.
Bottle cheers to Ken, shared at Bruce’s birthday gig at CBC Islington. Pours hazy golden with a small white head leaving some nice legs. Nose is tangy lemon, moderate biscuit and a nice kick of spice. Taste is zesty lemon and lime, lemon biscuit, toffee and quite bready. Yeasty stuff. Solid balance and very easy going
