Very interesting. Grapefruit hops with solid body. One taster said the hoppy-ness is beyond his palate. (90 ibu, 7ABV). Great IPA- had this on tap at the Oregon Garden Brewfest 2012 cmonster (1000) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Bottle served in a tulip. Pours honey in color with a large beige head. Excellent retention and lace. Big pine, orange, pineapple and malt behind. Medium sweet, medium bitter flavor. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, and a sticky bitter-sweet finish. Thinking this might rock at a slightly lower abv. Nicely done. boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 2, 2012
Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured clear, burnt orange with at thick, lasting, white head. Nose had pine-like, citrus and earthy hops. This hop aroma came through in the flavor. This was a solid IPA, the only fault in it was that I wish it had more of dryness and less malt sweetness. Just a tad too candied malt character. Nice bitterness, pleasant hop tones. On tap at Venti’s South. Bitterness and grapefruit. Well balanced. Finish is a bit sweet. raphael (1311) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 17, 2012
on tap at tasting room, closest microbrewery to my house. well balanced aroma with a stray off odor that could be the stain on the bar & tables. slight peachiness to the malt, under the rasping, almost metallic hops, then some caramel comes in. the flavor changes form sip to sip, an interesting complexity that at times gets too bitter. looks good. feels good.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy / opaque blood orange with a small white head. Aroma of pungent resinous hops, tropical fruits (mandarins, mango, pineapple and grapefruit), and a big malt backing. Flavour of resinous hops, grapefruit, bitter orange peel and sufficient malt backing. Dry and bitter. Delicious IPA. Nikiel (879) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 26, 2012
On tap at Gigantic with Carla. Pours a very foggy gold with off-white foam. Smells wheaty and almost foggy and of PURE hops. Tastes nicely bitter with hints of grapefruit and slightly sweet of lupulin.
