pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - NOV 24, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2013 On draught at Gigantic. Full golden color. Grassy, sweet citrus aroma. Well-hopped with a great pine and citrus hop flavor, almost sweet not bitter at all. Definitely a favorite among IPAs.

Dawsemeister (50) - - DEC 27, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Bottle - pours golden with a foamy white head, good retention. Definite juniper and maybe some banana on the nose. It tastes like a dry and bitter ipa mixed with a fruit sour... you can taste the gin, but it seems a bit thin and singular in flavour for the barrel ageing to have come into play. The aftertaste leaves a hop residue in the mouth, but it doesn’t have the hop fruitiness and instead leaves a bitter and slightly sour note. It does what it says in that it is a gin soaked ipa, but I couldn’t help but want more depth and less dryness from it

Bomber. Caramel malt aroma with notes of grapefruit citrus, orange and some pine resiny hops. Pours amber-orange with a large tan head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with grapefruit and orange citrus with a good caramel malt backbone. Finishes dry, but fairly smooth with grapefruit hop citrus and acidity as well as a bit of pine resiny hop bitterness at the very end. Not bad, but not their best.

22 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color. Large, rocky beige head. Clinging lace. Fragrant malty nose. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor. Dank bitter hops in middle. Spicy dry hop finish.

2.4

Draft at the Saucer. I gotta say I was a bit let down by this, but maybe my impressions were dampened by having such a great beer before this one. This is muddy orange with virtually no head. It’s musty and earthen, with no citric acidity. Little body to it. (#6743, 8/7/2017)

jflopsu (1862) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 25, 2017
Pours a hazy orange with white head. A caramel malt, fruit and hop aroma. A malt backbone taste with caramel, fruit and some citrus hops. A bitter hop and sweet caramel afteraste.

j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 13, 2017
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Soft orange on the nose, a touch of toast. Medium bodied, soft malt, a bit of sweetness, orange, a touch of honey. Gentle citrus, a touch of fruit. Slow citrus, soft bitterness into the finish. Gentle musk, orange, a bit of pine and citrus. Easy with very faint bitterness.

3.3
halfonit (1412) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 11, 2017
Pours a semi hazy deep and dark golden color with a thick off white head. Aroma is of hops, malts, some lactic, oak, and a little grass. Heavier and dry palate. Flavor is of hops, malts, fig, bark, oak, and a little booze. Leaves a dry hopped finish with some malts in the finish.

3.6
Plovmand (8682) - Grindsted, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2017

3.5
Karstenborg (1157) - Hasselager, DENMARK - MAY 11, 2017
Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is mango, pine and hops. Taste is lime, pine and hops.

3.9
simontomlinson (673) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Off white frothy head left a collar on a very hazy dark orange coloured still body. Big fruity aroma with tropical fruits, peach & Haribos. Medium to full mouth feel. Smooth with minimal carbonation. To the fore this has quite sweet citrus flavours with tropical fruits, peach & resin but this sticky dissipates to bitter back with, grapefruit, rye, pine & under ripe fruit. Throughout all this there’s a constant undercurrent of malt.
