Draught @ CBC2015. Pours tiny hazy golden with a small frothy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity with crackers, white bread, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles, elderflowers and lemon zest. Taste is sweet, bitter, tiny malty and slightly fruity. Mouthfeel is round, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with crackers, white bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles and lemon zest. Decent… All the right components are there but the balance is off.

Thanks to 5000 for sending me this bottle. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma has quite a bit of peach and orange notes. The flavor is heavy on the biscuit malt with some light pine and orange adding a light amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Golden in color, clear with a thin white head. Super lager with a great pils flavor. This was a terrific summer beer.

Pours a very light yellow with a thin foamy head. The nose is hoppy and fruity with light toasted malt notes and heavy citrus profile. A bit light and grainy in the mid palate with a heavy hop on the finish. Bitter and dry into the aftertaste. Great hoppy but light brew.

Neat to have a lager'd pale ale but doesn't deliver enough kick for me. It's a great lager for a pale ale lover and a weak pale ale for a pale lover. Well crafted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the adorable frog bottle: Bright straw color with fizzy, billowy white foam, settling gradually. Nice piney and biscuity aromas. The flavor has a nice hoppy bitter bite, little bit like aspirin. It finishes very dry. It’s a bit thin. The carbonation is lively but no too sharp. Delicious overall.

Bottle, shared with friends at game night. Hazy yellow body, lively white head. Big fresh hoppy nose, lots of white grapefruit. Pale pilsener malts allow bold grapefruit hop character to shine. Pithy bitter finish. A great hoppy lager.

Crisp yellow Amber with soft head. Hop and grain scent. A better lager for the game or wings or both. Nice hopping, definite Simcoe cattiness. Solid grain and grass notes.
