Lustrous is a golden, effervescent and refreshing farmhouse ale with a kiss of orange peel. For Lustrous Gigantic wanted to bring a summer twist to saison by adding orange peel and dry hopping with Mandarina Bavaria hops. Fermented with French saison yeast, the beer has bright citrus, with peppery and floral notes with a dry finish.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, candy sugar, fruits, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of candy sugar, malt, straw, yeast, and fruit, leading to a dry finish.

Draught at St. Augustines, Vancouver
Hazy golden color. Mild aroma, American yeast, some vegetable, cabbage, but very light. Lean mouthfeel, moderate sweerness, some caramel flavor that doesnt make up for the lack of malt depth, hints of petrol and vegetables. The alcohol is well hidden.
Unfortunately this is kind of common Belgian imitation, this part of the Atlantic.
Not too bad, but I wouldnt be able to drink 12oz of this.

On tap at St. Augustines, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian yeast, candied sugar and lots of sweet fruity esters. Flavour is all thats wrong with a North American Belgian strong, with lots of fruity esters, candied sugar, and alcohol heat. Not-integrated nor complex in any way, just abrasive and amateurly constructed. No good.
