Thanks to Finn for sharing a big bottle, 13 % abv, of this one during a social gathering at his place. Mahogany coloured body, filmy layer, spotty lacing. Prominent caramel and bourbon aroma. Well blended taste of caramel, bread, prunes and bourbon. Port wine impression. Rounded, lingering aftertaste. Solid depth. Nice slow sipper. Bottle from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours dark brown with a few bubbles, and the pour suggests something syrupy. Aroma of brown sugar and bourbon - for some reason bringing a maple Voo Doo donut thing to mind. No bacon tho. Some wood! Pretty near full bodied. Flavor is brown sugar, bourbon and a bit of wood. Still bringing maple to mind. Poor brain. Obviously craving something strange. Heat is perceivable, but I had to think about it. This is a fantastic sipper. Far from dry, and not bitter, but the bourbon helps stand in a bit. Highly recommended. Inbreak (7066) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JUL 23, 2017

Taste is slightly sweet grainy, raisins, dark sugar, caramel, grass, caramel malts, grain, toffee, minerals, oak, mild bourbon, hints of butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly sweet grainy mouthfeel. Nice one, kind of reminds me of something in the direction of a good madeira wine.
Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, and bourbon. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bourbon, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.
