A freakin’ hop bomb. Bright, multilayered citrus hop aromas and flavors blow up your face, with just the right amount of hop bitterness to back it all up.

Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Cloudy orange-golden color. This has probably been served from a pitcher because it has creamy head and it's almost flat. There are no real malt qualities to talk about, it's moderately sweet, sugary, the hop is a bit orangey, the final is astringent, metallic, dirty.
This has been disappointing.

tp at Gigantic brewpub, PDX, 22/05/13. Lightly hazed golden with a decent sized white head. Nose is hops, grass, pine, light grapefruit, citrus notes. Taste carries a decent hop bite, bitter grapefruit, pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish, Decent enough DIPA.

mcberko (18925) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 24, 2013
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours cloudy golden orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, pine and caramel malts - great nose. Flavour is pungent, with strong notes of piney citrusy hops, some grapefruit and other light tropical fruits, and a thin caramel biscuity malt backing. Very hoppy, with very little malt backing but just enough to balance the body - leaves a medium astringency. Excellent stuff.

Bottle - Rich grapefruit, resin and a dark malt background. Clear dark copper with a rich off white head. Dark malts with a candy like sweetness, piney with a hit of bitterness that has a long finish. A little booze and burn in the finish, but otherwise a nice IIPA.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent copper with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus with some pretty brown sugary malt. Med body. Flavor is lots of citric hop with some pretty sweet caramel. A hop burn builds. This is not a NW harsh hop thing. It’s a very hoppy, smooth, lightly burning hop thing. Lots of redundancy there, but it’s appropriate. The burn continues to build, and the malt slowly sinks towards the sunset. Finishes pretty balanced surprisingly.

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit, tangerine and orange zest. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, orange zest, pink grapefruit and light mango with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Awesome pnw hop scent of citrus and some herbal/pine, flavor follows, gets a little hot as it really warms up but a pleasant dipa.

Dogbrick (13748) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. The beer pours a clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and roast malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter citrusy hops character and notes of malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

j12601 (13092) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 13, 2017
On cask at the brewery. Pours a softly hazed orange amber with a medium sized white head. Soft wheat and fruit on the nose, mango, a bit of papaya, a touch of fruit. Toast, soft mango and fruit, light and smooth, quite easy drinking for the ABV. Toast and a bit of sweetness. Slow sweetness, fruit, a hint of bitterness.
