tp at Gigantic brewpub, PDX, 22/05/13.
Lightly hazed golden with a decent sized white head.
Nose is hops, grass, pine, light grapefruit, citrus notes.
Taste carries a decent hop bite, bitter grapefruit, pine.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish,
Decent enough DIPA. mcberko (17328) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 24, 2013
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours cloudy golden orange with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, pine and caramel malts - great nose. Flavour is pungent, with strong notes of piney citrusy hops, some grapefruit and other light tropical fruits, and a thin caramel biscuity malt backing. Very hoppy, with very little malt backing but just enough to balance the body - leaves a medium astringency. Excellent stuff. bhensonb (15094) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 10, 2013
Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent copper with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus with some pretty brown sugary malt. Med body. Flavor is lots of citric hop with some pretty sweet caramel. A hop burn builds. This is not a NW harsh hop thing. It’s a very hoppy, smooth, lightly burning hop thing. Lots of redundancy there, but it’s appropriate. The burn continues to build, and the malt slowly sinks towards the sunset. Finishes pretty balanced surprisingly. Bottle - Rich grapefruit, resin and a dark malt background. Clear dark copper with a rich off white head. Dark malts with a candy like sweetness, piney with a hit of bitterness that has a long finish. A little booze and burn in the finish, but otherwise a nice IIPA. Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. The beer pours a clear amber color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and roast malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter citrusy hops character and notes of malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Awesome pnw hop scent of citrus and some herbal/pine, flavor follows, gets a little hot as it really warms up but a pleasant dipa. Sammy (12105) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 14, 2013
Rich, finely crafted DIPA. Recent bottle from 20 West. Thick golden appearance. Fruit in aroma and taste. Above average mouthfeel although somewhat palate erasing. slowrunner77 (11930) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2014
"(Sigh). Good brewer that Travis took us to in Portland in January (had in June). Unfortunately, this beer may be that old. But you know what? DATE YOUR FREAKIN BOTTLES!!!!!!!& Potential, but so much cardboard. Looks nice, feel is nice, flavor and aroma completely lacking." marcus (10149) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Bottle from Pangaea, Sacramento. Pours light amber with a nice beige head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a smooth transition from malty to hop bitterness. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with light tropical fruit. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor with pine and light caramel. Medium bodied. Very good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger with tropical fruit and light earthiness.
