Light and drinkable. Not too much flavor but it is crisp and no off flavors detectable. Thats what it comes down to when rating GO’s beers. NPRugby11 (219) - New York, USA - MAR 8, 2009
Pours out a nice deep red and has a good hoppy aroma, but I think this particular batch got the malt burned instead of caramelized, there was a very strong burn flavor to it which knocks it down. j12601 (13298) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 25, 2008
Pours a coppery brown. Aroma is rather laid back and hard to detect much of anything going on. Malty and light bodied leads into a strong bitter finish. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - AUG 11, 2008
Sample at the brewpub: Deep copper pour with an off white ring of head. Has a very mild aroma. A touch of grainy caramel malts and brewing cereal. Thin body with a light flavor. Sweet/lightly caramelized grain notes with residual toasted hints. One dimensional. JAF737300 (1291) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2007
This Vienna beer red lager seemed gorgeous out of the tap and actually had excellent malt like aromas. The palate and mouthfeel seemed to lack the full blown classic style but it was quite tasty!

The pour reveals a clear pale amber color. Aroma of mild hops and caramel. Decent flavor of mild hops and burnt caramel with a bitter finish. The body is light to medium with a chewy texture and moderate carbonation. A very decent vienna. pivo (2689) - GERMANY - MAR 17, 2005
Copper-amber color, low frothy head. Light caramelly nose and taste with a light toasted, woody end. Good starter upper for someone trying to get into micro-brews, but this is rather superficial overall. Not much going on there... MaiBockAddict (1497) - Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA - MAR 7, 2005
Tap at the brewpub. Orange, clear, small off-white head. Slightly sulfured nose, with hints of hops and malt. Flavor is malty with a refreshing dose of hops following. Light on the palate. Drinkable. YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 5, 2005
Amber orange color, small layer of a head leaving nice laces on the glass. Sweet nose. Light almond taste with a light roasted finish. mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - MAY 30, 2004
Nice deep copper color. Hoppy aroma. Malty. Well balanced. Sweet. Good beer. Dry beer.
