On draught at Gilgamesh The Campus. Copper amber color. Aroma is milk chocolate and sweet cherries. Taste is cold brewed coffee, milk chocolate, hot chocolate, and cherry cordial. Very light mouthfeel. Seems like it should have more alcohol, but like it’s ability to be a session beer. IndianaRed (4862) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 31, 2013
1L fliptop "aged" in the fridge for 8 months. Clear brown with a small light tan head. Nice aromas of chocolate and cherries and coffee. Subtle and balanced on all three. Not overly sweet Pretty good. Syzzer (647) - Oregon, USA - JAN 27, 2013
On tap at Venti’s: 16 IBU; 6.3% ABV. Clear and tan in appearance, with a very weak head. BUT the taste makes up for all of this, smooth slight malts. Definite sweet cherry and separate coffee flavors. Very nice. 9BD 9Rod Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JAN 26, 2012
Tap at 16 Tons. Ruddy brown pour with almost no head. Wonderful aroma melding chocolate, coffee and cherries, with a flavor consisting largely of chocolate covered cherries with some coffee and roastiness complimenting it nicely. I enjoyed this brew more the first time than I did later in growler form, but it was still pretty pleasant, just not quite Oakshire Heart Shaped Box level. Livid (49) - - JAN 23, 2012
On draft at Venti’s for Gilgamesh pairing dinner. Dark brown with ruby tones (dim lighting), thin head with minimal lacing. Smells intensely of chocolate. The taste is very dry, chocolate and roasted malt with coffee undertones, a hint of cherry sweetness and a very mild bitterness. Medium bodied with light carbonation. It paired very well with the dinner entree (beef short ribs) and has a well-balance profile.
