Draft served in a pilsner glass at Venti’s Taphouse, S.Salem.
Appearance? Golden yellow with a nice sized pure white head.
Nice lager aromas..bready, nutty.
Good fresh taste..grassy, cereal, small hopping and some nuttiness that finishes off the mouthfeel well
Good and smooth on the palate..no problem at all drinking this.

draft. clean, firm malt throughout, a hallmark of these brewers. very light filbert nuttiness in the nose allows the subtle noble-like hops (dried leaves) to present themselves. clean, snappy, fresh, lightly nutty with firm malt structure and frothy carbonation. well-made as always with gilgamesh. beersearcher (2382) - Glendale, California, USA - AUG 24, 2011
Tried this on a lark. Tasted really good. Light and crisp but with that added heaviness from the nuts that were added. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2011
Tap at 16 Tons. Hazy yellow, milky looking beer thst is one of the ugliest I’ve ever seen. Hazelnuts very apparent in both nose and mouth, with a little biscuit thrown in. This is no Rogue Hazelnut Brown, that’s for sure. troopie (2339) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - OCT 18, 2010
Draught. Poured pale yellow with thin fast dissipating head. Aroma is hay and filberts, lots of filberts. Pilsnerish taste, with a lot of nuttiness. Pleasant, but mouthfeel is marred by greasiness. Barman told me that is likely from the nuts. Balance finish, but again with the greasiness.
