Some rich sweet smell with a light pink hop. Mild hazy orange with big active lasting head. Very mild balance taste. Soft oily hops lead to a nice dry bite. Lots going on kind of an English feel to this ipa.

[24/12/15] Bottle from Clackamas Town Center: Golden body with a medium head. Nose is hops and some pine and citrus. Taste is hoppy again with some spicy and malt notes. Dry in the finish.

Can from Seijo Ishii. Hazy orange-amber, suspended particles, finger of foam lasting for ages. Mild pine hop and caramel aroma. Pithy grapefruit and orange, not a strong malt flavour, more in feel. Medium-bodied, a mix of tang and bitterness, lingering citrus oiliness. Pleasant enough.

Can. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light tropical fruit aroma. Tropical fruit and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and grapefruit linger with light malt.

Sample at the Salem brewpub. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of tropical fruit, hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Rating #1625 - #CBC2015 Beer 9 - Welcome Reception - Somehow got conned into 2 beers at the same booth, wonder how that happened. Aroma is bold, citrus, lemon wedge and passionfruit - palate is dry, peppery, and a light vegetal note that is borderline unpleasant. Motherfucker.

I like a lot of what was going on, but the undated can bought at Platypus Pub in Bend seems old. Malt heavy for the style. Nice light fruitiness and bitterness, but left wanting more.

Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Unusual citrusy nose, fishy with a little caramel. Orange/amber color. Gentle and balanced from the get-go, a bit of tropical fruit sneaks in, and it thins out in finish. Medium body. Okay, but not a lot going on here.
