Oakes (17679) - Vancouver, British Columbia, - NOV 3, 2012
Light amber colour. The aroma is soft, malty bitter. Light body, soft, very English with a malty character, touch of diacetyl and a creamy cask finish. Underhopped, though.

340ml Bottle: Pours a clear light amber with zero head. Aroma of toast, caramel and honey. Tastes a little sweet with medium bitterness. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Overall an easy drinking beer that is well balanced and full of flavour.

Unfiltered, natural carbonation. Awesome! Beautiful well rounded palate. Perfect session beer.

Holmen2 (3642) - NORWAY - MAR 14, 2015
From tap at Gilroy’s Brewery in Gauteng, South Africa, 14.03.15. Dark gold. Small head. Fruity aroma and taste, with low bitterness. Low carbonation. Good drinkability.

Splitenz (370) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 10, 2014
Strong on the nose, weak on the tongue. A fine drinking Ale, with enough hops to make it easy and, Belgian (?) style yeast.

This is a strong aroma beer. But very smooth and not as heavy. No heart burn or hang over

3.2
AtronSeige (1538) - Johannesburg, SOUTH AFRICA - SEP 3, 2013
Aroma: Buttered banana bread, Appearance: Clear, light copper, almost no head. Taste: Light bitterness, banana bread, buttery Palate: Light, thin body, light carbonation, Overall: An easy drinking beer, but not my favourite from Gilroy’s Brewery. 340 ml, poured.

1.8
Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 17, 2012
Draft at brewpub. Amber with scattered lace Bland nutty malt aroma with late plastic. The palate is oily and laden with butter but yields to a toffee and lightly toasted malt finish

3.5
Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2008
(On tap) Beautiful clear amber colour with a small, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of caramel, fruit and nuts. Medium body, a little low in carbonation with sweetish - almost exotic - fruit accents. Smooth and lightly hoppy finish. 040508

mojoharper (32) - SOUTH AFRICA - MAY 8, 2008
Bottle: Amber with fluffy, but white, minimal head. Yeasty, fruit aroma. Biscuit and subtle fruit tastes with a good, dry finish. Somewhat "thin", could do with more body.
