Borresteijn (7491) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2017
33cl Bottle from EkoPlaza. Purple-ish colour, pink head. Aroma of cassis. Flavour is medium sweet, cassis, cherry, raspberries. Light bodied, watery, weak, even for a fruit beer like this.

Robe rubis, fine mousse, peu persistante.

Jerre (3823) - Waregem, BELGIUM - SEP 21, 2017
Thuis geproefd zomer 2016. Wazig bruin rose bier met kleinere gebroken wit schuim. Aroma: bessen, citrus, zoetje. Lichter tot medium body. Smaak: zoet, bessen, gaat meer de kant op van limonade dan bier.

adamnowek (3308) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 4, 2017
Murky ruby colour. Foamy pink head that evaporates swiftly. Smells like raspberry, strawberry, and yoghurt. Taste is lots of berries and lots of sugar.

Icedwarf (1804) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - AUG 11, 2017
Rosebruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is verrassend goed, licht zoet met duidelijke fruitsmaak, zeker niet chemisch. Lijkt meer op een niet zoete limonade.

nathanvc (712) - Brugge, BELGIUM - JUL 31, 2017
Bottle from a Carrefour in Bruges. Pours hazy dark red with a small, foamy, pink head. The aroma contains yoghurt (lots in the smell), strawberry, cherry, raspberry, sugar, some wheat and, perhaps faintly, hops. It tastes medium to heavy sweet, light sour and eventually light bitter due to a touch of hops. Rather dry and crisp in the finish. Light body, watery texture, too lively carbonation. The bitterness provides an element of ’organic’ but overall, it’s too sweet, one-sided and artificial.

Bottled, gift from my neighbor. Muddy dark red colored, almost no head. Very fruity nose, cherry, raspberry, not much else. Flavor is pure fruit juice, perhaps a hint of hops somewhere. I enjoyed drinking it, but is this still beer?

sjogro (4752) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 23, 2017
Shared from bottle at home, thanks Maakun. Dark red with thin greyish head. Sweet red fruitjuice and thick malty base. Some cardboard. Big sweet. Medium body, very slick malty, average carbonation. Surprisingly ok for a non sour fruit beer.

Bottle shared. Almost hazy nice deep pink with very light pink head. Lots of sweet raspberries, strawberries, cassis, wheat, light paper, lots of cooked fruits. Light sweet and medium bitter with light tart kick. Medium bodied with doughy feel. Not bad but the cooked fruits aromas give a weird milky herbal finish.

Alengrin (5722) - BELGIUM - JUL 11, 2016
Organic multi-fruit beer with medium thick, lightly lacing, snow white head and hazy deep fuchsia colour with slight amberish hue. Aroma heavily laden with classic sweet fruit: red raspberry but most of all raspberry jam or sugary raspberry yoghurt, sugared cassis, eldeberry syrup, the blueberry being less evident, otherwise a light lemony touch, pure sugar again and a vague tea-like presence (maybe the hops). Very sweet raspberry and blueberry jam flavor, heavily sugared, cloying with hints of honey and apple sauce, sharpish carbo, some thin lemony sourishness but in a faint and simple way yet luckily providing some balance against the red fruit candy sweetness, soft bready malt base, very vague and brief hop bitterish accent far away in the background but the sugar keeps lingering. Way too sweet to be enjoyable to the more experienced palate, but I can imagine some less ’beery’ people will like this and technically there is nothing wrong with it. At least not as bad as that Rosé des Remparts I remember from Binchoise.
