3 year old bottle from The Waters Green Tavern in Macclesfield. Aged very nicely. Seems to have mellowed the tartness a little. Not massive sweetness which can kill it for me. Really enjoyed it. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2009
It is dark red with a pink, creamy head. The aroma has sourness and a light sweetness and notes of raspberries and marzipan. The flavour has sourness and a light sweetness and loads of raspberries. It is quenching, tart and refreshing, a step further than the sugar-sweet ones. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 19, 2009
@ WSF. Amber red-orange, mainly clear with a fizzy head. Big raspberry nose. Pretty nice and straightforward with just a hint of seed bitterness preventing it from smelling like candy. Finishes abruptly but has a good, drinkable body. Dry in the finish, not sweet. Just a pure fruit flavor, seeds included. MaxxDaddy (415) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 7, 2009
Bottle @ Moeder Lambic. Pours raspberry red with pink head. Aroma of raspberry syrup straight up. Taste of raspberry jam; not too sweet, but sweet enough. Slightly tart going down, with some vinegar taste in there. Blom (843) - Sorø, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2009
Beautiful red in colour with a low white head. Sweet raspberry aroma, yum! The flavour is very refreshing, not cloying in any way or overtly sweet. It is very balanced, a bit dry and woody with some sourness, but not much.

Bottle. pale raspberry colour with small pink head and lots of bubbles. Aroma tart and sweet with lots of raspberries. Taste sweet, raspberries, tart finish. BeerBiker (1415) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2009
[Sampled with the duo Svoger & Svogergylp on Orø.] Sampled at Bolund Bugt beside the old shipwreck where I spend some of my youth. Nice grassy flavor and aroma. Sparkling like champagne in great balance. True real lambic framboise flavor. Quite fantastic. Jonte (1413) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - MAY 17, 2009
Bottle. Red colour with a quickly shrinking head. Aroma: Lots of raspberry, sweetness, a bit of wheat, light sourness, light cheese/funkiness.
Taste: Raspberries, white wine, wheat, only light sourness and funkiness. A bit too much raspberries and not enough lambic character. Fin (10621) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2009
Bottle that I picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium March 09 Pours the richest most glorious deep ruby red, good clarity and with a fluffy pink head that Barbie would just love for a foam party. The raspberry aroma’s fly off of this with some confectionery sweet raspberry notes as well which just take the edge off of it a touch. This is sweet, tart, sour, crisp, refreshing, actually this is just summer in a glass. I’m reminded of raspberry meringues and picking rapberries off of the canes down the garden, gorging myself when Loz’s back is turned as they are her favourite fruit and turning around and getting caught out with the odd stray pip and scarlet chin proving my undoing. This isn’t as sour as some but that maybe why I am attracted to it even more, for me this is just great and how I like a fruity lambic. great stuff! UPDATED: DEC 7, 2010 2004 bottle. This is for sure great stuff!
Pouring hazy red with a large pink head.
As soon as the glass gets near your head a vinous aroma of sour raspberries and dry wood hits the nose. Mmmm..
The flavour is slightly sour raspberries that tickles your mouth due to the carbonation and weak malty notes.
The dry and sour raspberry taste gives a nice long and pleasant after taste.
