ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours clear and golden red with a little lacing white head. Solid raspberry aroma, dry yet fruity. Light sulphorish, dry raspberry flavour. Goes into a dry sulphorish finish. Nice. Ungstrup (37601) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2003
The aroma is sweet with slight sour notes. The color is a beutiful clear red and it has a light brown head, though fast disappearing. The flavor is rather sweet with a nice taste of the wooden cask. It is rather carbonized for a Framboise. It ends on a dry acidic notes combined with nice mellow notes of the wild fermentation: metal and sourness. A nice Framboise - though a little on the sweet side. joergen (28142) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 12, 2006

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Pale, hazy red with a small pink head. Very raspberry nose and flavours. Framboises can often be a cloying, not so pleasant experience, but as this is based on unsweetened lambic it’s very fresh and not too tart. Rather delicate indeed. 060498 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 12, 2012

Clear red beer. Pale pink head. Light fresh raspberries on the nose. Light crisp palate. Light tart fresh raspberries - pleasantly zingy tart, but not lemon juice. Finishes crisp and a little underlying lactose sweetness. Girardin are good sour beers for non sour lovers.
Bottle at the Waterhuis, while being laughed at by Host Herman and SeaBass. Deep purple color, fluffy pink head that settles slowly. Aroma of massive fruit, dust, lemon. Taste is citrus, raspberry finish, dry and sour toward the end. Light body. Decent.
