Very good lambic. Clear ruby red, nose is of actual raspberries and a hint of something rural in the background, maybe a bit like a farmhouse on a misty june morning, something earthy and soft tangy animal smell. Very nice! rabidbarfly (62) - London, Surrey, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2009
Taste is sour, clean, nice soft bitterness and leaves a dry quiet aftertaste, a hint of something acidic. Perfect beer for a picnic in a park.
Aroma sour raspberries, shocker! Massive raspberry flavour and a great sour tang to go with it. Kunstemaecker (68) - Nieuwpoort, BELGIUM - AUG 7, 2011
Appearance is pink and cloudy.
Very refreshing, just what the doctor ordered!
A fresh raspberry aroma and a turquoise appearance. Nice sparkle to it. Minimal white head. Medium sour taste with the raspberries clearly present. This is a refreshing and wonderful fruit lambic. iwantalambic (1478) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - FEB 10, 2004
37.5 cL [corked and caged]: an oozing stream of liquid garnet meanders through the raspberry bed . . . mint, lime zest, oak, bark, honey, and earth hang in the air. As I approach the patch the sunbeams cut the thick air and warm my skin. I feast on the raspberries and notice luscious complexities of iron, pomegranates, orange flesh, blood, hay, limestone, and dry earth. Full carbonation make for an amazing treat. Bottle, 37,5 cl. Hazy, red color with white-pinkish head. Aroma of fresh raspberries, little yeasts. Medium body. Taste full of raspberries, sourness, very fruity, with a dry finish.
Very good for a framboise.
