0.25l bottle from Bierkoning @ Tulip hotel room. This is a crystal clear dark woody-golden one with a massive off-white foamy and fluffy top that fills the whole glass. On the nose its subtly woody and lactic sour. I get lots of sour red berries with a little bit of sulfur fart and ketchup. Smells interesting. Its soft on the carbonation and light oily to watery on the texture. Its not directly sour this, more woody and aged. It tastes kinda old and dusty with red berries and some thin watered out white vine vinegar. Nice, but surprisingly sweet. 30.09.2012

Red with little white head. Aroma is gooseberry, cherry, some wood, pips. Taste is intense sourness, some bitter cherry stuff as well. Intense and heavy on the tongue, not so easily drinkable but still enjoyable. Good one.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, drunk at home. Dark gold, very clear with lots of natural carbonation. Almost zero head. Woody basement odours, overripe tangerine, but also a sweet almost floral note. Taste is tart and sharp. With almost a salted caramel savoury hit to balance. The sourness stays on the the tongue during the long finish. Kumquat peel and sour cherry in the aftertaste. Top top beer in my opinion. Need to try the others...

375ml bottle from beergium.com

Very nice tart aroma, funky lambic scents, some white fruit, sweet floral scents. There is a bit of sweetness there, though the beer is tart. With pits of white fruit in the finish. Overall pretty good one but lacks balance and harmony for my taste. Time should help.

0,375l bottle at home. orange clear color, small white head. smells funky, citric, light green appkes, light sweetness, marzipan, nutty, lightly sour, hints of wood. lovely smell. medium body, medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, funky, nutty, some marzipan, bit tobaccoish, some vinegar, also some sweetness, wood, gets a bit sweet but also rather dry and vinegarish towards the finish. finishes dry and sour with funky, green apple and vinegar notes. overall good one, but finish is not very convincing. bit weird overall.

750ml bottle. Etre Gourmet. Dark gold, with a soft haze. Film and ring of lasting, white head. Nose has sweet, toasty, lightly nutty malts. Soft, fruity funk. Some damp, old wood. Bit of a soft fruit stone thing. Bit of citric pith. Taste is sweet, and tart, at the same time. Gets tangy, tart and dries out nicely. Light to medium body. A fair spritz to it. Fruity, dry and tart finish.

Bottle at the Poechenellekelder. Quite a surprise. Has a faro feel to it somehow. Nice funkiness in the nose, musty, bit of coconut, almond. Taste has a touch of sweetness, hint of coconut again, not aggressive at all. Apples. Cider like elements even. Quite soft carbonation. Marzipan, very light citrus. Interesting. Further down it becomes a bit sourer, but still very interesting.
