Thank you, thank you to erzengel for sharing!! Pours an intense red color with a pink colored head. The smell is jammy cherries, cinnamon. The taste is rich full cherry flavour with a hint of spice, yeast, wood while ending dry and crisp. Light in body with fine carbonation.

37.5 cl bottle, bottled (FX) 2017. Very fruity and intense cherry, fresh with lots of fruits there. Not too much sourness, horse blanket with fresh fruity cherries. Loks of fresh fruits in the aftertaste, the body is mild and dry, the sourness is low, so the cherries are sour in the middle. Fantastic balanced stuff, great!

Aroma and taste very nice: cherries, lots of funk. Taste a bit faint though, carbonation too lively.

A 375ml corked and caged bottle. The cork had the words Diam AX 2017 and the number 01 on it, which I think Ive worked it out to mean Batch A, bottled in January 2016. Poured into a Cantillon ballon glass. It was a clear ruby red colour with a one finger pinkish head that dissipates quickly while leaving some lacing. Aromas of cherry Lifesaver hard candy. What this means is cherry, almond and lightly artificial, although this aroma is right up my alley. Tastes of sour cherry and grapes with an interesting hint of vanilla. Crisp, light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Overall the aroma was wonderful, and while the taste didnt quite match up to the aroma, it was still great to drink.

Bottle @ home. Cellared 6 years. Dark Ruby red color with a small to medium white head Aroma of sour sweet cherries, raspberries, raisins, oak, yeast, bread, almonds, some vinegar. Taste start with tart cherries, raspberries, wood (oak mostly), almonds, lemon and some vinegar. Some sweet fruitiness, red apples and cardamon in mid taste. Finishes tart and rather sour with lingering vinegar, cherry kernels, cardamon and leather. Balanced and smooth carbonation.

Bottle. Deep Red. Very fruity - lots of cherries. Effervescent. Yeasty, woody. Good balance. Bit thin. Sweet but with nice slightly sour fruity edge. Not particularly sour. Dryish, fruity finish. (2008)

0.375 l bottle from Bierwinkel Hop, best before end 2015. Clear, deep red with a large, fluffy, stable, pinkish white head. Sweetish, sourish, rather fruity and slightly funky aroma of sour cherries, raspberries, bitter almond, oak and hints of vinegar. A bit sweetish, moderately sour, quite fruity, dusty and a bit funky taste of sour cherries, bitter almond, oak, some vinegar and a bit of raspberry, followed by a short, slightly tart, woody and a bit vinous finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice Kriek, easily drinkable and refreshing, not too deep or intense though. Far behind their fantastic Gueuze nevertheless.
