COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From 33cl bottle. Pours black with limited foam. Aroma is malty, little licorice. Body is tendentially light. Taste is relatively sweet, though some bitterness emerges in the end. Finish is uninteresting.

Mörkbrun öl nästan utan skum. Doft av kaffe och mörka bär. I smaken tillkommer viss choklad och trätoner.

330ml bottle to accompany Mothers Day lunch at Caffe Vivo Newcastle. Pours intensely dark brown, with a bare skim of bubbles. Dark chocolate and farmyard aroma. Powerful chocolate cherry, vanilla and dried fruit flavours. Wife, no stout fan, pronounced it delicious, and regretted ordering wine. An unalloyed pleasure.

In bottiglia. aroma di liqurizia, caffè, tostato. Al palato poco corpo, lieve acidità dai malti, liquirizia, caffè e finale piuttosto dolciastro.

Bottle 0.33L. Dark brown body with large, frothy, tan head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing. Moderate-to-heavy malty (roasted, caramel) with notes of wine, licorice, coffee and nuts. Moderate bitter and light-to-moderate sweet flavour with an overall winy feeling and a light acidic note. Medium-to-full body with creamy texture; soft carbonation.

weak go no where malty dark ale. Very simple with little roastiness. I don’t understand the point of making this.

33 cl bottle. Black with minimal beige head. Roasted malt aroma, espresso flavour, toffee, notes of chocolate. Really easy drinking, nice one

Bottle from Trembling Madness, York. This extremely dark brown-black beer pours without any sort of head. It has rich red fruity, sherry and chocolate flavours followed by tart currants, leather and vanilla on the creamy finish. Superb!
