Glacier beers are better anywhere but the brewpub. Fact. Anyway, this is a tasty blond. There is a nice hint of apple but the yeast character is otherwise clean. There’s a touch oof crackery malt and a tiny touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Well done and a bit unusual.

[Tap] Tried this at the brewpub in mid-September. Bright golden pour with a rocky white head. Sweet cereal grains, soft hops and lemongrass in the aroma. Dry and grassy/grainy taste includes a mild floral hop bite in the finish. Lively carbonation and good body for the style. A pleasant surprise.

Draft at the pub. Clear golden with a creamy ring of fine bubbles and lace. Mild aroma of fresh grain and grassy, citrus hops. This is a well-balanced, softly carbonated, light-medium bodied brew with a lightly crisp hop finish. Nice sessioner with a bit more flavor than most goldens.

On tap at the brewpub. Light golden color with a thin white head. Light grainy nose. Sweet grainy taste with some lemon citrus and buscuits. Decent brewbup blonde and it will be accessable to the the non craft beer drinkers.

sampler at the Glacier Brewhouse in Anchorage. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a white head. Could not pick up any aroma. Maybe it was too cold. Taste was of grain, but no yeast standing out. Mouthfeel was dry. Disappointingly bland.

(tap) clear yellow colour, aroma of citrus, clean citrus flavour, light bitter finish

On tap. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. The aroma is bread, light citrus hops and a spicy yeast scent. Flavor is sweet malt with just the right amount of bitterness for the style. Medium to light body with ample carbonation and a crisp refreshing finish. This is a surprising treat for the typical "tourist beer" that most places put out. More flavorful than most Blond’s I’ve had and the finish is excellent.

[1641-20080901] Tap. Nice house yeast aroma is fresh and twiggy with a hint of fruit. Slightly hazy, light brown body with a quick foamy white head. Nice sweet fruit background flavour has some yeast and light grapefruit notes. Light-medium body. Drinkable.

2008-09-01. Hazy pastel yellow body with a smallish white head. Lightly yeasty, mild pale malt, light bitterness, minute citrus. (6+) Modest aroma, light hops, yeast and grass. (6+) Average plus plate. Quite drinkable but just okay. On tap at Steamers, Ketchikan

Tap at Chair 5 in Girdwood, Ak, on 7/5/8. Didnt really jump out at me but it got better as I drank it. Easy to drink, and goes well with F&C. My notes show it’s what Budweiser probably should taste like.
