Tap. Pours clear yellow, small white head, good lacing. Bready, grass, honey. Flavor is light sweet, very light bitter. Light body. Pleasant. PorterPounder (8288) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 6, 2004
Had on tap at the Resurection Roadhouse in Seward, Alaska. Medium golden appearance with a decent, white thick head, good lacing. Has a slighlty buttery aroma with some vegetable accents. Same buttery essence carries over to the flavor with a bit of bit of biscuity, malty sweetness. Mouthfeel was decent. Probably brewed for the masses. A decent, but not stellar effort. Clear light golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavors are grainy and citrus
Nice, mild and easy drinking.
On draft at the brewpub 7/6/05: Dark yellow beer. Really strong sweetness with a hint of high alcohol? Damn near a Belgian-type ale. I’d think that most people would run from it.
