(tap) hazy pale gold with small white head; aroma of spruce, citrus; flavour is mildly bitter with long medium bitter finish; oily palate savnac (2656) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 11, 2010
On tap @ the Brewhouse. Very cloudy yellow, almost looks like a Hef, very thin white head. Big aroma of pine and citrus hops, some spicy rye and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is lots of bitter hops and some sweet malt to cut the bitterness down, not much alcohol taste. Medium body, with mild carbonation and a long bitter finish. Very good IPA, the rye adds some aroma and body but not much flavor. I could drink a lot of this one.
