Light and golden coloured best bitter with a robust malt character. Strong bitterness provided by Challenger hops gives way to a light floral aftertaste, thanks to the addition of American Mount Hood hops. Full of flavour and decptively drinkable.
Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt, wheat malt and caramalt. Challenger and Mount Hood hops

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a rim of white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit. I find the flavor too weak for my liking.[5/2/6/3/11=2.7]

Bottled - clearly filtered, but I can’t tell if it’s pasteurized. A golden beer with a thin white head. The arom ais sweet amlty with some flowery notes. The flavor is sweet malty with a light touch of flowers [6/3/6/3/11=2.9]

[Cask at GBBF] Golden colour. Lagerlike both in aroma, looks and flavour. Sweetish with some grass and a rounded sparkling mouthfeel. Low-medium bitterness.

Hazy blond color. Very nice yet delicate hop aroma, flowery and a bit grassy. Dry mouthfeel, some malt aroma, strong hopping, with a grassy and citrusy footprint. Very bitter final, dry too and lightly astringent. Good surprise!

Cask at GBBF 2006. Yellow gold with good carbonation. Bit of butter. Some hop. Not good, too buttery.

Oakes (19569) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 6, 2010
@ City Arms, Wells, Somerset. Dull gold. Big fruity, spicy (coriander) nose. Spicy body with light earthy hop accents and a bright, almost citrusy finish.
