Cask conditioned handpump Cask & Kitchen London 03/05/13. A black beer with a little beige head. Plenty of coffee and bitter roast in this. Coffee in the mouth is especially strong. A touch of chocolate in the swallow. A competent coffee porter served just a bit too warm.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a fruity slightly sharp note. Some dark, roasted malts too.

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Inky black with a massive dark tan head. It has a rich milk chocolate and roasted coffee flavour followed by a smooth creamy coffee finish. Very good.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2016 Bottled : A generic coffee porter . i admire the enterprise , if not the exact manifestation . A bit too sweet and syrupy to be drinkable , ok though . beige tan head above deep purple brown . nose of coffee and roast malt . it drinks the same . This beer is like an inviting fair ground ride that will make you wanna be sick if you have a second try .

[email protected] Black. Malty, earthy dry woody dark, dry licorice nose. Med bodied, smooth nkce flavour. Licorice root, malty, some huskeyness, grains. Overall feels just a bit thin/watery, but like the dry licorice.

Aromat: czekolada, kawa zbożowa, cappuccino, kakao, tosty, lekka paloność, nieco suszonych owocw. Gładko i raczej słodko.

Wygląd: barwa ciemno brązowa, pod światło rubinowa, wydaje się zamglona. Piana beżowa, drobno pęcherzykowa, umiarkowanej wielkości i podobnie trwała.

Smak: kawowo- czekoladowa podstawa, ale niezbyt słodka. Następnie tosty, melano, paloność, ale nie przesadzona. Nieco alkoholu i ziołowej goryczki. Jest ona poniżej średniej, ale wyraźnie wyczuwalna, bowiem wzmacniana ciemnymi słodami. Niska do średniej pełnia, umiarkowane wysycenie i wyraźnie słodowy finisz. Całkiem przyjemne, delikatne, angielskie piwo.
