Rune (13206) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2016
750ml bottle, 8.3 % abv, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A misty amber body under a remaining beige head. Lacing rings down the glass. Brown malty aromas, nuts and caramel. Blended taste of dried fruits, caramel and nuts joined by yeast and spices. Well bodied. Rather sweet, perfect for sharing (Big bottle session with Jan Erik, Finn, Elisabeth and Stefan 05.11.2016).

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Cloudy amber color with a medium head. Aroma of esters, fruits, raisins, caramel. Flavour is medium to heavy sweet with a decent bitterness, fruity, alcohol. High body, medium carbonation. Very good beer!

Licht bruin bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is licht zoet en kruidig met iets van anijs en drop.

Dogbrick (13413) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 30, 2016
Sample during the 11th Annual Day Before Labor Day Party on 09/04/2016. The beer pours a ruby-brown color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Yeast, fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, earthy yeast and fruit. The finish is fruity with a Belgian yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

flatearthman (68) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - JUL 29, 2016
Copper colored with dark copper colored hue and a foamy head that clings to the glass (small eruption out of bottle when opened). Has a subtle earthy nose. Medium carbonation for mouthfeel. Front pallet taste is of caramel with an appricot flavor that finishes very quickly to a dry somewhat bitter / earthy taste.

3.7
MelvinKalksma (1631) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 6, 2016

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, overripe fruit and nuts.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque orange/brown beer with a slight beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, Belgian yeast and overripe fruit; ends slightly dry with nuts.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. A really unique Belgian Strong Ale, thanks to the overripe fruit and nuts.

ippopotamo36 (2457) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 10, 2016
On tap at Luppolo Station in Rom-Italy. Cloudy amber, medium ivory foam with drafts. Nose: unpleasant flavor of sewer. Mouth: sadly not tasty, I am disappointed a bit. Maybe I need to taste it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone I asked another glass! Same appearance. Nose: little caramel, a bit funky, yeast. Elegant. Mouth: caramel is elegant and mild, cleans and dry finish.
