From bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Slight fruity and malty aroma. Flavour is mild sweetend and with a mild yeasty note. Finish is slight bitter and lingering yeasty with a mild bitterness into the finish. Solid yeasty and mild spiced brew. Lovely. dahfoto (11) - Logan, Utah, USA - DEC 23, 2007
Bottle @ Kerstbier Fest, Essen. Poured with large ice cream head, unfiltered golden color. Lovely nose of banana, bubble gum, spice. Smooth, creamy texture, with flavors of fruit, spice & hop bitterness, dry finish. My favorite at the festival. Very unexpected. Would love to get this one in the US. oh6gdx (26487) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 19, 2007

, Essen. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is cellar, fruits and yeast along with some mild earthy and woodenness. Flavour is the same in a perfect balance.

Flavoursstart out sweet, but quickly balanced by refreshing bitterness. a decent saison, quite spicy, ending very dry, but highly drinkable, nonetheless. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 18, 2007

2007, Essen) Very hazy golden with a large, foamy head. Sweetish, pale-malty aroma with fresh, flowery hops. Lemony-flowery-hoppy, quite malty flavor with a dry, bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied, bitter and still refreshing palate with some acidity. A very nice, balanced, refreshing and quite full-bodied saison.
Bottle Kerstbierfestival 2007: Poured a hazy golden blonde with a white head. The aroma was fruit citrus and yeast. The taste is hoppy metallic with nice bitter splash to the tastebuds, there is also that citrus presence. JoeinDahlem (1560) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 16, 2007
This was probably my favorite offering at the Kerstbierfestival. Bottle pours hazy gold with a huge, white, pillowy head and classic lacing. Looks gorgeous. The nose is grainy and yeasty, with grassy hops and fruit--tangerines or some other citrus. Wow. Tastes quite hoppy-bitter, and again with the citrus, like nectarine or tangerine or some other ’rine. High carbonation. Dry finish and bitter aftertaste. Really enjoyable. Bart (2937) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 16, 2007
Hazy blond coloured ber with a lots of carbonation and a large white head. Very herby, malty aroma. Full herby palate with some fizzy mouthfeel. Finish is bitter herby/Spicy, some light dry alcoholic touch. Lond ending, not bad. JorisPPattyn (10026) - Ursel, BELGIUM - DEC 16, 2007
Good whipped egg-white head, very muddy beer with a greenish bathtube shine. Spicy nose, but all the spices blending well together, so as none comes out. Maybe a bit citrus & juniper berry. Sweet-sourish taste, hint at coriander and citrus. Soupy, perfumey, coming on stronger warming up. Rather creamy MF but alleviated by a very present carbonation. Medium bodied. Please, Jef, go easy on the spices. An excellent beer doesn’t need to impose itself.
