Holmen2 (4043) - NORWAY - OCT 15, 2017
Bottle of Glazen Toren Saison d'Erpe-Mere Lentebier shared with JFE and BG at Vaaland Bryghus 15.10.17. Cloudy orange golden. Large, foamy and persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma and taste, with pale malt, grass, alcohol, succade, herbs and a hint of tropical fruits. Very fruity. Very high carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Bottle, 750 ml. Excellent and rich, full of umami and an enormous nose of honey, yeast, campher. Bread and esters. Some bitterness towards the end. Savour it!

Colore giallo acceso, schiuma abbondante compatta e persistente, torbida. Al naso creali, mandorle. All'assaggio note di frutta in particolare limone e banana. Corpo medio, Inizio dolce con un finale secco ed un retrogusto leggermente amaro. Una birra con un carattere delicato in cui l'alcol rimane ben nascosto.

As a De Glazen Toren Lente Bier. Coz za wyglad. Papier jednak zdjalem wygodniej mi bylo nalewac (postapilem wbrew zaleceniom). Piekna puszysta biala piana, trwala niczym sople lodu przy -40 stopni gdzies w skandynawii. Zlocista barwa pod koniec piaskowa barwa zmetniona. Zapach lekkich perfum, zywicy, choinki w lesie. Smak delikatny, zywiczny przyprawowy, olejek z oregano, bazylia i tymianek. Fantastyczne i smaczne. Alkohol ukryty doskonale. Swietny Saison.

Svesse (8803) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 23, 2017
(Bottle) Hazy golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with citrus, apricots, banana, flowers, hay and a touch of clove. Fruity, spicy taste with notes of lemon peel, apricots, banana, fruit salad, herbs and flowers, some clove and a spicy finish with a gentle floral bitterness and a warming touch of alcohol (a hint of Cointreau). Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and fresh. Nice one.

JefVerstraete (3642) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - MAY 26, 2017
Bottle from Geers, as Lentebier. Hazy yellow colour, creamy white foam. Sweet, yeasty with notes of citrus and banana. Bitter finish. Well balanced. Nice beer.

Benzai (16708) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2017
Bottle shared with Ferris @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear yellow color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, wheat, yeast, sweetish. Nothing weird, noting special but very balanced. Nicely done.

Ferris (16538) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 21, 2017
Bottle - Sweet and floral bready notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Sweet and fruity with some flowery fruity notes.

ippopotamo36 (2562) - Rome, ITALY - APR 6, 2017
Tap at Luppolo Station on the day of the tap takeover, Rome-Italy. Cloudy golden pour, medium white foam. Nose: a rich yeast aroma, apricot pulp, fruit and bread. Mouth is lovely, carbonation is medium-soft, lovely spicy, sweet hidden maltiness. Yep

Inbreak (6538) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2017
23.03.2017, 0,75l bottle (as Lente bier) shared with friends @ local tasting:
Huge fizzy longlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry floral, weeds, flowers, yeast, fruit stones, sap, minerals, alcohol, wet grass, almond essence. Taste is slightly sweet floral, weeds, sugar, flowers, minerals, sap, yeast, hay, fruit stones, paper, alcohol. Medium bitterness, harsh boozy mouthfeel. Meh!
