rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle from CBX. Hazy dull gold pour with a large fluffy white head. Aroma is fresh flowers, dried citrus peels, yeasty phenols and esters, dirty earth, hints of funk and light pale grains. Sweeter on the entry than expected with more of the ester characteristics from the yeast fading into citrus then lots of clove and white peppercorn spice drying out the back end. moderate carbonation and smooth body. Pretty solid.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2016 Bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden with a large off-white head. Aroma has hay, citrus, white bread, crackers and some barnyard. High carbonation medium bodied dry taste. Slighly sour taste with white bread, pear, lemon zest, white pepper, cereal, hay, apricot and grapes. Aftertaste has some dry leather as well along with even more citrus. 2016-03: previous score: 3.5. Now cellared for nearly two years. It’s still extremely fresh with a champange like, yeasty character and greater complexity then when fresh. Nice notes of gooseberries and almonds in addition to above.

Palme (4337) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2014
Sampled from a 0.75l @ RBNG 2014. This is a blurry quite golden looking one with a nice super lacing medium sized bright white head. Smells of white wine, Belgian yeast, lots of floral nuances, a little bit of corn sweetness and faint lemony sourness in the back. Nice aroma. Tastes nice also. Not sour, more Belgian infused white candied sugar and Belgian yeast. It has a above average carbonation level and a light oily almost sticky mouthfeel. Floral flavor also. Quite sweet and triple like in a way. All in all a good one. 15.02.2014
