Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, rich firm head. Fruity nose. Mid dry with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Soft, yet firm with some grassy hops and growing, yet balanced bitterness. Nicely drinkable and quite delicious. ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - DEC 27, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Light malty, very fruity aroma (apple and pear). Dry, fruity taste with a moderately bitter, herbal finish. Up to date this is certainly the best and most fruity kolsch I’ve ever had. Delicious! bierkoning (13729) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2004
Golden color with a firm frothy head. Creamy, malty aroma and flavor with a firm hoppy and vanilla bitterness. Hint of sour cream. Well made tasty beer, a very pleasant surprise. funcut (747) - SIBENIK, CROATIA - JUL 16, 2009

Swing-Top bottle. Nicely laced white head atop a yellow, slightly bubbly body. Aromas of hops, grains, and slightly spicy sweetness. Smooth, almost creamy body with an initial malty sweetness that’s followed by more dry grain flavors and a dry finish. Slightly dry and bitter aftertaste doesn’t detract in my opinion. Very tasty.

Ah, I’m not into the helles and pilsner styles, so this isn’t a headliner. Within style, not bad. But, I won’t seek this one out again (just had to complete the Gleumes trifecta). Nice five minute pillowy head that basically disappeared after that (some lacing). The carbonation and bubbling were not impressive. Not a bad helles, but it’s still just a helles. Fruity(a bit of juniper) and malty smelling beer. Tastes like cookie dough and citrussy fruits, nice crispy, and hoppy finish. excellent kolsch! Erzengel (9613) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2015

Hayish, fruity (pears, oranges) and spicy aroma.
Cloudy yellow, stable creamy white head.
Flavor is a bit of a letdown: Papery malt base, a bit fruit, yeasty, spicy - going into a
gunpowder exit. Lingering minerally hay note.
(swing top bottle) Hazy golden colour with a medium steady foamy white head. Very herbal hoppy aroma with a tinge of wet straw and grainy malts. The taste is initially malty with a lasting soft dry finish. A spicy and tasty brew with a smooth and almost creamy texture. A medium bodied, unfiltered Kölsch-type beer from the Lower Rhine with its own character. Good.
