Glider has just a little residual sweetness up front. Due to our late start in 2010 we missed the apple harvest in Colorado. Were using mostly Washington apples this year and have them pressed on the western slope for a fresh juice. Were also blending in some bittersweet apple juice from New England to add a true cider apple character. Starting with the 2011 harvest we will use all the apples we can from Colorado.

Blackbelly Market, 11/23/15. Clear pour. Fairly heavy sweet apple aroma and flavor. Not much in here to balance it out. I guess theres a hint of tartness, but I would have preferred more, because it was still too sweet. Too much so for my preference in the style.

Bottle. Extremely pale in hue, the color of pear pulp. Perfect clarity. Aroma gives off notes of Fuji apples; flavor has soft sweetness and just a bit of acidity. Not a ton of complexity here, but good balance and drinkability.

On tap at Colorados Best Beers in Conifer. Golden clear appearance with a fully dissipating head. Aroma of apples and light candy with a medium sweet flavor and no bitterness. Finishes lightly dry with a lingering sweetness. OK.

On tap at Denver Biscuit Co, Colfax. Pours a golden color with no head. Looks like Apple juice. Aroma is tart, with Apple notes, hints of vinegar and fresh cut fruit. Taste is typical cider, dry, tart and more of a green Apple flavor. Palate is light, medium carbonation. Nothing too wild.

The regular is still fairly dry compared to many sweet ciders Ive had. I havent tried their dry version, but I fear it might be to dry. Very tasty cider that Ill drink lots of this summer.

Very clear gold pour - looks like a white wine - minimal lace - nose is mildly sweet and semi tart - earthy apple skin and flesh, light vanilla - crisp and light in flavor - a bit tart and mildly acidic up front - very mild apple flavor - moderately tannic - a touch like a semi-sweet desert wine - a light bit of vanilla on the tail end - crisp and refreshing, but lacks the earthy complexities of the better ciders I have had.
