nihtila (3750) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 17, 2015
Pale golden, clear body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of grains, grass, flowers, honey, some bread.
Taste follows this, with quite a lot of bitter herbal notes.
Medium to light, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes bitter, herbal, grassy, grainy.
Good, but nothing special. Nice grainy and floral notes, but too herbal for my liking, what disturbs the drinkability a bit. Overall an average Helles, I’ve had worse, but also better ones.
Keg at Glöckl Bräu, Austria. Pours clear and pale golden. Nose is malts, almost like honey sweetness, grass. Taste is sweetish, malts and grain, light wood and grass. Trolleo (1687) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - DEC 9, 2014
Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malt and some vegetables. Tastes like water. Thin body, soft carbonation, some sweetness. Malty finish. Bad.

(Glöckl Braü beerhouse 0,5l on tap)
Draught, 0.30l. Clear golden colorwith medium creamy white head, excellent lacing and flat carbonation. Aroma of grassy hops, grainy malt and very mild honey. Taste starts with ligh sweet malt, followed sour grainy and grassy, finished with strong and long bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation in palate. Very refreshing, but I still prefer zwickl... ganache (6012) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 28, 2011
Tap from June 2011, not sure if it was a Märzen or Helles, so the rating’ll go here until I get back to Graz. Presentation is beautiful, lacing creamy white head like Santa’s hat atop a clear golden body with slow-rising carbonation. Sweet citrus and malt nose, minimal grain. Thin, watery body, but smooth. Taste has a dense, layered malty dominance, really tasty citrus but unfortunately with a touch of grain. Very mild bitterness but a good, quenching hoppiness with a some green for freshness, apparently. The drawback would be the slight uncleanliness [Aha! Puntigamer! ], but there’s also a touch of wood and yeast that helps. Thinking I may have overrated, it’s only OK. Marko (5858) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 24, 2010
Draught at Glöckl Bräu. Poured a golden body with a small thick, creamy even white head that went away at a medium pace. Lemony, perfumey almost light nose. Kinda papery too. Light bready taste, hop, light bitterness. Not bad and definitely better than the average macro you can find there. Geiserich (4545) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAR 26, 2007
Pale golden color, frothy head, Quite overall beer with a sweet and malty flavor. Dry finish. All in all a bit boring. ogivlado (7948) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 12, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. -after I’ve drinked chili beer not enjoying it, this beer came as a "beer salvation", pale yellow coloured, little airy head, mild hoppy and malty aroma, slight bitter hoppy finish, refreshing and easy-drinkable
