courtesy of Antonio Rey - hazy dark blond beer with a moderate foam left; bready aroma with fair corny and citrusy notes; sweet and with a decent malt backbone; light citric sourness and some residual sweetness in the finish; aftertaste of oranges, spices, wheat and bread

Me encanta.

330ml bottle. Bruggs Goblet glass. Lemon yellow color, foggy appearance. White froth, lively & quickly diminished head. Yeasty & spiced aromas, hints of orange zest & coriander rounded by herbal notes. Sparkling upfront & light malty flavor. Light body. High carbonation. Oily texture & spiced palate. Slight tartar flavor in the middle provides soft astringency & lingers into a sour/sweet finish. Herbal bitter aftertaste.

Hazy and pale golden colour with minimum and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is citrus, cinnamon and yeast. Flavor is quite the same as aroma with some acid notes. The final is dry and bittery.

[email protected] Pint Pub, Helsinki (shared with Mankke & co). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild wheat, yeast, some slight bready malts, grains and mild herbal notes. Flavour is wheat, mild dishwater (without the perfumy notes), mild dry sour wooden notes as well as some slight yeast.

330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Spanish Weeks 2011)
6 Stodgy grainy aroma, a bit bready, no sharpness or crispness.
3 Dull hazy toffee, not much head.
6- Again a bit stodgy, some dishwater, some sharpness, quite a blast of strange esters, some wheatiness.
3 Smooth palate, gentle carbonation. Finish continues the taste.
11+ Bizarre, more a wheat ale than a blanch certainly, and quite quirky and fun. Easy to drink. Stays drinkable even if pop out to drop your laptop in work, and get locked in Nokia Research Centre for an hour.

Ungstrup (37561) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2009
Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and herbs. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and herbs, as well as light notes of spices. Thanks yespr for sharing.
