Pint at the Crosse Keys JDW. A: Dark black with a ruby tinge, medium head, well retained, didn’t leave a whole lot of lacing. S: Smoked meat, dark chocolate and a big hit of smoke. T: Dark chocolate, quite meaty, burnt charcoal, decent bitterness, smoke. M: Light body, decent amount of carbonation, went down well. O: Reminiscent of Schlenkerla Rauchbier Märzen not easy to classify, but very drinkable.

Fat.
